Days 1
"The field of eagle grass"
8:00 Pick up at your hotel and depart to Long An province (around 90 km from Ho Chi Minh City).
10:00 Arrive at the place, you enjoy the water of lime leaves to cool off and refresh.
- Visit the Primeval Forest by local boat.
- Weave into the system of canals to see the green vegetation, the rows of water lilies and lotus flowers.
Stop to visit at:
- “The field of eagle grass”: With more than 100 hectares, visitors will experience the feeling of walking barefoot on the grass flooding.
- “Sao Mai medicinal plant area”: This is the genetic reserve of Dong Thap Muoi with rare and special medicinal plants. Visitors can enjoy the country food “tapioca cooked with coconut milk”, and drink white lotus leaf tea. (home-grown and processed)
- “Moc Hoa Tram Factory” – a place that produces natural products such as essential oils, cosmetics, functional foods, and traditional medicines… You can participate in the experience of “Essential Distillation” (expenses excluded) to make your products and learn about the company’s essential oil production process.
12:00 Lunch – enjoy the Vietnamese traditional food.
Enjoy a relaxing and refreshing afternoon in the forest.
- You can either bike or walk through the greenery and breathe in the fresh air. The air is filled with phytoncides, which are natural substances that plants and trees release. They can help you boost your immune system, relax your mind and reduce your stress.
- Try kayaking or composite canoeing on the water. The channel is more than 3 km long and surrounded by the Melaleuca Forest. You can admire the beautiful scenery of the forest and the sky blending together in a cool blue color. You can also watch the sunset on the water and see the sun disappear behind the trees. It is a very poetic and romantic sight.
15:30 Back to Ho Chi Minh City.
17:30 End the tour at your hotel.
