  • Notre Dame Cathedral:

The important spot was crowned the Basilica Title in 1962 and is now one of the only four in Vietnam known for its great role in the Vietnamese Catholic community. All the materials were directly imported from France as they retain their bright and lively soul in the world today. In front of the cathedral stands a Virgin Mary statue, which is said to have shed tears in 2005, causing thousands of people to stop around the Basilica.

  • Reunification Palace:

It was once the residential and workplace of the president of the Republic of Vietnam – Ngo Dinh Diem – it became world-renowned in 1975 when the North Vietnamese army tank shut down the main gate, marking the Southern Liberation event to unify the country on April 30.

It has just recently opened after a long time closed for restoration. This Renaissance-style style bears a striking resemblance to its original inspiration. It is situated at the intersection of Nguyen Hue Boulevard that can easily be seen when you take a night stroll to feel the bustling city vibe of Ho Chi Minh City.
