Days 1
HA GIANG
Depart for Ha Giang province. Have lunch in Phu Tho. Then, continue heading to Ha Giang.
Arrive in Ha Giang city. Stop at The landmark Km 0 – the starting point of “The Happiness Road” across the rocky plateau.
Check in the hotel, rest, and have dinner. Free to explore Ha Giang at night.
Days 2
HA GIANG - DONG VAN TOWN
Have breakfast. Check out the hotel. Depart to Dong Van Town on the Happiness Road:
On the way, stopover and admire the marvelous scenery of the Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Quan Ba Twin Mountains.
Visit Lung Cam cultural village in Sung La Valley, where is home of a century-old traditional H’Mong house, one of must-see places in Ha Giang city.
Arrive in Dong Van town. Have lunch. Check-in at the hotel. Continue your day by visiting:
The Mansion of King Meo with many unique architectures and interesting stories.
Lung Cu flagpole – the Northernmost point of Vietnam. From the Lung Cu flagpole, you can enjoy the picturesque landscape of terraced fields interspersed with the earthen houses of the Lo Lo ethnic group in Seo Lung village below.
Return to Dong Van town for dinner. Evening, free to stroll and explore Dong Van Old Quarter, enjoy a cup of coffee in the ancient and calm atmosphere of Dong Van mountain town (personal expense). Overnight in Dong Van town.
Days 3
NHO QUE RIVER
Check-out and have breakfast. In the morning, the group is free to walk around Dong Van Old Quarter, Dong Van market (every Sunday morning).
Cross Ma Pi Leng pass – one of the “Four great passes” of the remote mountainous region in the North. Take a boat to admire the landscape of Nho Que River flowing through Tu San Gorge between the towering cliffs.
Have lunch, then head through Meo Vac, and continue the journey to Cao Bang.
Arrive in Cao Bang, have dinner, and stay overnight in Cao Bang.
Days 4
CAO BANG
Check out and have breakfast. Depart to conquer the Ma Phuc Pass and continue:
Visiting Ban Gioc waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia. The waterfall is the border with China.
Taking pictures with the sacred sovereignty landmark of Vietnam.
Exploring Nguom Ngao cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Cao Bang.
Have lunch and rest.
Depart for Lang Son, arrive in Lang Son city, check in and relax. Have dinner.
Free to explore Lang Son city at night. Overnight in Lang Son.
Days 5
LANG SON - HA NOI
Have breakfast. Arrive at Bac Son Valley, a symphony between mountains, fields and white clouds, which created one of the most picturesque sceneries of Vietnam.
Then, explore Dang Mo waterfall, a natural attraction with a clear stream and green surroundings.
Have lunch. The car and guide will transfer you to Hanoi, take your flight to the next destination. End trip.
