Da Nang tourist attractions
1. My Khe Beach
Once voted as the most beautiful and charming beach, only about 3 km from the center of Da Nang city, viewed from above, My Khe beach is seen as a vast blue strip and when travelers arrive here, they will see its beauty burst forth brilliantly.
My Khe beach also attracts many tourists because of its wild beauty, smooth white sand, gentle waves and a very cool, fresh atmosphere.
2. Son Tra Peninsula
As the only combination of natural forest ecosystems attached to the sea in Vietnam, Son Tra peninsula is 10 km from the city center with 3 sides facing the sea. According to scientific research, every day the forest here produces enough oxygen to provide 4 million people. This place is also the home of many animal species with 22 rare species listed in the Red Book, most notably the primate population with a number of about 300 – 400 individuals.
3. Marble Mountains
A scenic spot consisting of 5 limestone mountains on the coastal sandy beach. This place is famous for Non Nuoc village, which produces many famous marble handicrafts throughout the country and abroad.
Remaining historical traces show that before the Vietnamese came here, the Cham people worshiped their gods in caves and temples. The migration of Vietnamese people to this area brought with them Buddhist culture and beliefs, establishing more pagodas, temples, and huts, making this place very diverse and harmonious in identity.
4. Ba Na Hill
Inside the Ba Na Hill tourist area, there are many entertainment venues.
The weather in this area is very pleasant due to the high terrain (1,487 km above sea level), visitors will have the feeling of four seasons in one day, suitable for all relaxing activities.
5. Dragon Bridge – Da Nang
Although not as famous as Ba Na Hill or Marble Mountains, Dragon Bridge is still considered a unique bridge in this beautiful city. Dragon Bridge is considered the heaviest bridge in Vietnam with a sturdy dome structure and a specially designed bridge body using a combination of 5 steel pipes to decorate dragon scales. The bridge was also built quite elaborately, equipped with a lighting system including a total of 15,000 LED bulbs.
What attracts tourists most about Dragon Bridge is its ability to spray both water and fire.
6. The love bridge
This is a bridge modeled after famous love bridges in France and European countries. The bridge is located on Tran Hung Dao street and it has an arc shape about 70 m long, 6 m wide, facing the middle of the river.
In the evening, hundreds of heart-shaped red lanterns are lit and become sparkling. According to legend, the love bridge is a place where many couples can “lock” their love to show eternity and fidelity.
Da Nang cuisine
Da Nang chicken rice
Chicken rice has long become a typical dish in Da Nang, especially the crispy fried chicken pieces with a bit of spicy chili sauce and hot rice, when eaten with kimchi or cucumber, it has a very unique taste.
Fish noodle soup
Maybe many people have eaten fish noodle soup, but if you want to try a very special flavor, don’t miss this dish in Da Nang. The fragrant aroma and cool, sweet broth rich in vegetables and fruits, with a little sweetness from onions and the spiciness of chili create an irresistible bowl of delicious vermicelli.
My Khe seaweed
Seaweed is made into long pieces, often used to prepare dishes such as soup, stir-fry, salad, etc. For many people, seaweed is difficult to eat because of its fishy taste, but actually it helps beautify the skin and prevent acne, aging and provide nutritious vitamins for the body.
